Have you ever wondered what your ideal weight is? Many people consider their weight to be an important part of their appearance. Keeping ideal weight is a part of leading a healthy and balanced life. What is ideal weight? In determining the ideal weight of a person, the individual is taken as a whole. Elements such as height, weight, age, and fat tissue are taken in consideration.
However, it is false to think that you should not weigh under or over your ideal weight.
It all depends on your lifestyle. If you have a healthy lifestyle, do sports regularly, sleep at least 8 hours a day and eat healthy food a couple of extra lbs wont kill you. However, if you have health issues like diabetes or high cholesterol you should try to maintain your ideal weight on the recommended level.
How do I know how much should I weigh? You surely remember those paper scales from your mothers parenting manual or from the school trips to the doctors office, when you were little. They determined the ideal weight of a person based on his/her weight, age and height.
